North Star successfully organized the “Annual Football Festival 2025”

The “Football Festival” has been North Star’s annual activity for many years. In 2025, within the framework of the Hanoi – Xuan Thanh Beach tour, North Star combined the event with the “Football Festival 2025” on August 23, 2025, in coordination with the Company’s Trade Union and Vietravel’s event organizing unit. The football tournament gathered a large number of staff, employees, and their families, turning Xuan Thanh Stadium (Ha Tinh) into a true festival.

With the overarching theme “Reaching for Breakthroughs”, the tournament was not only an annual sporting event but also a reaffirmation of unity, aspiration for conquest, and the resilience of the North Star family.

From early morning, the stadium area was bustling with colorful jerseys, banners, flags, and constant cheers from the stands. The presence of the Company’s leadership, Trade Union representatives, and hundreds of supporters turned the opening ceremony into an event comparable to any professional football tournament.

Particularly, the vibrant and youthful group of female cheerleaders, with their energetic performances, created a passionate atmosphere and boosted the players’ spirit before kickoff.

In his opening speech, a Company leader emphasized: “The North Star Football Festival 2025 is not just a friendly match, but also a place to spread the spirit of teamwork, the desire to rise, and the resilient determination of the North Star collective. Every goal, every play is proof of the determination to ‘Reach for Breakthroughs’ both in sports and in work.”

The tournament followed the 7-a-side football format, with each half lasting 40 minutes. The highlight of the day was the match between two teams:

• FC Veterans – gathering North Star’s seasoned players, noted for their composure, competitive spirit, and sound tactics.
• FC Rising Stars – representing the young generation, full of ambition, with a fast, technical, and decisive style of play.

Right from the opening minutes, FC Rising Stars pushed forward with quick passing and constant pressure on the opponent’s goal. With youthful energy and enthusiasm, they soon scored the opening goal, igniting roars from the crowd.

However, that was when the resilience of FC Veterans came into play. With composure in every move, solid organization, and excellent coordination, they gradually regained control. Within minutes, they scored twice in a row, staging a remarkable comeback.

In the second half, the match truly exploded. FC Rising Stars put in all their effort to equalize, but the experience and sharp finishing of FC Veterans gave them complete dominance. Accurate passes and decisive shots kept shaking their opponent’s net.

In the end, FC Veterans achieved a resounding 7-2 victory, affirming their status as the “big brothers” and becoming champions of the North Star Football Festival 2025.

While the players on the field were brave warriors, the fans in the stands were an indispensable source of motivation. Cheers, drums, and fiery performances from hot girls of the cheer squad made the stadium atmosphere hotter than ever.

“We didn’t just come to watch football; we came to ignite the spirit of our teammates. Every goal scored is like the achievements that North Star collectively gains in daily work,” one excited female supporter shared.

After the final whistle, the Organizing Committee held the award and closing ceremony. The championship trophy was presented to FC Veterans amid thunderous applause across the stadium. In addition, individual awards such as Best Player and Top Scorer were also given, bringing complete joy to all the players.

The festival concluded in a lively atmosphere, with warm handshakes, radiant smiles, and promises to meet again next season.
