Dwight International School Project has completed acceptance for EDGE Green Certificate and will hand over to put into use.

The Dwight International School project is one of the "Classic" projects in "Architecture" designed by the world's leading architect "Carloz Zapata". “Dwight school” is an international school under the Global Education brand with more than 150 years of history of formation and development. Besides the requirements of international technical standards, to put into use the project, it must pass acceptance for the EDGE green certificate.

The EDGE Green Certificate is an international certification issued by IFC (International Finance Corporation) - a member of the World Bank Group – in order to encourage construction projects in applying saving solutions for energy, water and materials. To achieve this certificate, projects must meet strict standards on design and operation, ensuring to decrease maximum consumption of energy and natural resources.

The Dwight International School project has applied many advanced technologies and solutions such as energy-saving LED lighting systems, efficient water management systems, the materials are friendly to environment, good measures in insulation, selection for materials and equipment for installation must be saving in electricity, construction methods is scientific and safe to reduce emissions ….

At the project, Sao Bac undertakes the role of main contractor implementing the Mechanical - Electrical items, so to achieve acceptance for the EDGE green certificate, the systems deployed by Sao Bac must meet the solutions for using energy, water resource, including during construction and during operation.

At the end of days of July 2024, experts assessing the EDGE green certificate conducted an assessment and issued a certificate at the project. This is an important milestone for the project in general and for technical systems supplied and installed by Sao Bac in particular.

Through the evaluation results, for the energy systems are deployed, supplied and installed by Sao Bac, they have met the requirements of energy consumption – those are saving in electricity, reduction in emission and saving in energy and water resource. The experts have highly appreciated the conformity of installation requirements to ensure the correct design of Sao Bac, Besides the fuel consumption norms of equipment systems such as ventilation system, air conditioner system, chiller system….. when operating, they all meet output standards, water resource consumption norms from the water supply system that Sao Bac constructed are met and approved in the checklist to issue the EDGE green certificate for M&E systems.

Through the assessing sesstion and issuance of the EDGE green certificate, once again it affirms that Sao Bac's technical capacity and efficiency when constructing projects with strict international standards. Achieving the EDGE green certificate not only demonstrates Sao Bac's commitment to construction techniques but also ensures its responsibility in protecting the environment to community and society. At the same time, Sao Bac staffs also hope that with the success of achieving the EDGE green certificate, the Investor and students of Dwight School will benefit from a friendly, fresh educational space, in order to promote comprehensive and sustainable development.

The Dwight project has completed the acceptance of the EDGE green certificate, this fact has marked an important milestone in the project implementation process, and is a premise for Sao Bac to hand over and officially put it into use one week later. “Dwight, a typical project of perfection, high performance, emission reduction, energy and resource saving, effectiveness and benefits in costs, safety and quality”.
