EMC Bac Ninh project completed the acceptance test of Fire protection & prevention and Handed Over the M&E systems to the Investor

EMC Bac Ninh which is one of the cold storage projects with the coldest limit in Vietnam, is deployed on a total construction area of 11.000 m², and floor area of 8.000 m² with the construction progress and handover from December 2021 to September 2022.

On August 31, 2022, the project completed the acceptance test for fire protection and prevention. With the characteristics of cold storage, the fire protection system was carefully checked and accepted from the pump room system, the water spray system, automatic sprinkler system, mobile firefighting system, outdoor firefighting system, connections to fire cabinets, connections to water hydrants from industrial parks to automatic fire alarm systems, smoke alarm system, emergency exit light system, etc. and other systems under the responsibility of construction contractors. During the acceptance test, North Star performed a single-dynamic test without load, a single-dynamic test with load, an interlock test without load, an interlock test with load and carried out test procedures for hydrant pressure, the smoke test of smoke alarm system, the nozzle of the sprinklers, etc. After more than 5 hours of testing, the fire protection and prevention system at the project operates safely and effectively in accordance with the requirements in the fire protection standards, thereby passing the acceptance test.

Also on the same day, the Site management committee also handed over a number of other electromechanical systems to the investor such as low voltage electrical cabinet system, lightning protection and grounding system, lighting system, system of switches, sockets, circuit breakers, data – mobile system, surveillance camera system, public sound system and security control, water supply system, wastewater drainage system…

After 9 months of construction and completion, the project has handed over 99% of the volume in accordance with the schedule, quality and aesthetic; At the same time, the project also meets the objectives/criteria on occupational safety, the policy on health, and the safety and environment.

The passed acceptance test of fire prevention and protection together with 99% of the construction and installation volume are the result of the professionalism in the management by the site management committee as well as the efforts of the staff and workers in each stage.
