Internal control committee carried out the inspection of Daiwa Plastic Project - Phase 2

DAIWA Plastic phase 2 is one of the projects that North Star implements in Thang Long 3 Industrial Park - Vinh Phuc in order to promote the factory’s production and warehouse capacity of products according to the expansion purpose of the investor; The project is started in mid-October 2022 towards acceptance of fire prevention system and power supply by the end of March 2023 and hand over of the entire project by mid-April 2023.

After more than 2 months of the construction of the M&E system for the project, on December 22, 2022, the Company’s Internal Control Committee carried out a mid-term internal inspection of the project with the following participants: Representative of leadership, deputy head of engineering and planning department, head of safety - quality department, PM/SM of other projects in charge of cross-checks.

At the beginning of the internal inspection, the team leader and members held an inspection meeting with the project management committee at the project for items including occupational safety, processing, warehouse and material control, installation quality control for fire protection systems, electrical systems - extra low voltage system, air conditioning and ventilation systems, smoke exhaust systems.

In the course of inspection, the site manager leads the inspectors to inspect the factory and warehouse, then areas where the construction of systems is in progress, including production areas on the 1^st & 2^nd floors – factory’s warehouse on the 3^rd floor –garage on the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd floors – and Outdoor area.

At the end of the inspection, the team leader and members, together with the project management committee and subcontractors held a review meeting to assess the current situation as well as give adjustments for personnel to achieve the target. During the review meeting, the management representative acknowledged the efforts and professionalism of the project management committee in fulfilling requirements for safety and construction quality. At the same time, the members of the inspection team also clarified the strengths and shortcomings of the project in need of overcoming as well as gave directions for technical improvements. At the close of the meeting, the project management committee directed the engineers and subcontractors to perform well the construction items on the site, overcome the shortcomings, and gave solutions for the project to complete 100% of the raw part before the Lunar New Year holiday.
