“North Star” hosts a skill competition for workers "Welder, metal cutter, electrician"

“Skill improvement” is one of the top tasks to meet the “Process of tranning to improve capacity” of the Quality Management System according to the International standard ISO 90001:2015, and at the same time to ensure the policy of raising the salary level, corresponding to the ability of the job that the employee is undertaking, which is eligible for promotion according to regulations and the promotion on the actual labor level.

This year's skills contest has 50 participants who are direct workers of the Project Block with the scope of organization for the skills "Welder, mason, electrician". The theoretical and practical part is held directly at the construction sites where the workers directly perform the work under the supervision of the Head of the Internal Control Board, the Director of the Project Division, the Head/Deputy of the Planning-Engineering Department and Commnad Chief of each existing construction site. The contest is hosted over a period of 5 days with 5 different construction sites, the preparation of the room for taking a theory test, workshop, equipment and practice materials are prepared 1 day in advance and have corresponding codes for each person and each profession code.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee commented: The contest took place seriously, successfully completed according to the plan, the content and style of the exam was diverse, the logistics at the exam areas was good. The skill level of the workers - skilled technicians with 94% of individuals who are eligible for increasing the new salary.
