North Star., JSC successfully hosts the 20th Anniversary Celebration: A Golden milestone in its development journey

On November 30, 2024, at the 5-star Grand Plaza Hotel in Hanoi, North Star., JSC successfully hosted its 20^th Anniversary Celebration. Under the theme “Stay committed, Grow together”, the event marked two decades of continuous growth and development of North Star, celebrating its remarkable achievements and promising future orientations.

This was not only a momentous event in the Company’s history but also an opportunity to express gratitude to partners, clients, and all employees. The celebration was organized with grandeur and professionalism, leaving a lasting impression and unforgettable emotions for all attendees.

The 20^th Anniversary Celebration of North Star was planned and organized by Jenny Event, a subsidiary of N&G Company - known as a leading event organizer. Over two months of preparation, every detail was carefully crafted to deliver a perfect event worthy of North Star’s brand.

The celebration welcomed over 100 employees and nearly 100 guests, including strategic partners and investors from both domestic and international arenas - those who have accompanied and contributed significantly to the development of the Company. The event underscored North Star’s respect, commitment, and determination to foster a sustainable future.

Grand Plaza Hanoi – one of the most luxurious 5-star hotels in the capital, was chosen as the venue for this event. Every aspect of the event space - from the reception area and exhibition zone to the main hall, was imbued with North Star’s Imprint, highlighted by its main blue color, symbolizing stability and sustainable growth.

Each area was delicately designed:

• Reception Area: A space where guests could capture memorable moments at the photobooth.
• “North Star’s Imprint” Exhibition: A space that exhibits images of the company’s activities and outstanding projects, vividly illustrating its development journey.
• Main hall: A modern stage, combined with lighting and visual effects, created a solemn and grand atmosphere.

The 20th Anniversary celebration of North Star was divided into two parts: the Ceremony and the Party, with a professional and contemporary script that embodied the spirit of “Understanding – Feeling – Spreading” in every detail.

The program officially began with the reception of guests. The Company’s leadership greeted each guest in a friendly and warm atmosphere. The photobooth area became the focal point, attracting guests with photos taken on the spot, marking the presence of each individual on this significant anniversary.

Guests then toured the “North Star’s Imprint” exhibition, which vividly re-enacted the 20-year journey through memorable milestones. From the Company’s first strategic initiatives to its annual internal activities, collective social activities, and iconic international projects, the exhibition instilled a sense of pride not only for North Star but also for everyone who has accompanied the Company along this journey.

The Ceremony began with a short introductory video that re-enacted the impressive figures achieved over the past two decades. The video skillfully combined archival footage and modern graphics, thereby conveying the message of North Star’s resilience, creativity, and commitment to its mission of “Becoming a pride in quality”.

In his speech, the “Chairman” expressed his deep gratitude to the entire team of employees, distinguished clients, and partners who have been with the Company for the past two decades. He emphasized: “The 20-year journey is not just a story of the projects North Star has completed, but also a story of the people who have continuously strived, created, and contributed to building the North Star family. From our first projects, we learned the value of unity, dedication, and the importance of prioritizing safety and quality”. He also did not forget to share about the “Stay committed and the mission” which is:

“First: To provide our clients with the best, most aesthetically pleasing, fastest, and most convenient products and services; Second: To build the best working environment for our employees to achieve the highest efficiency, allowing each individual within the company to comprehensively develop his capacity, thereby fully satisfying the needs and dreams of each person, bringing profits to the Company and worthy income for employees, as well as contributing significantly to the country and society”.

The sound of the drumbeats resounded powerfully, blending with modern, vibrant light effects, making the stage into a magical and artistic tableau. In the shimmering light, the booming drumbeats echoed like the heartbeat of a great heart, symbolizing the unity and inner strength of North Star. The drum performance was a perfect fusion of traditional art and modern technology, with a great combination of sound, light, and visuals. This performance not only dazzled the audience but also conveyed the full message of the program: resilience, creativity, and constant innovation on the path to success. The grandeur and full emotions of this performance created a magnificent opening, leading everyone into the official ceremony of the event.

After the grand and emotional drum performance, Mr. Pham Quy Duong - General Director of the Company, stepped onto the stage to share the history and development of North Star through the impressive and proud milestones achieved over the past two decades.

“20 years of remaining ''Stay committed”... may not be a very long journey, but it has been enough to affirm our stability and strong position in the electromechanical construction industry, alongside our clients, creating many iconic projects that meet international standards, contributing to the socio-economic development across the country, and opening up opportunities for “Cooperation for mutual development”, Mr. Pham Quy Duong began his speech with emotion and pride.

The General Director continued to share, taking the entire audience back to the first year of its establishment in 2004, when North Star was a young but passionate company: “We started with small-scale projects, but we always remained committed to our mission: Becoming a pride in quality. This philosophy enabled North Star to gain the trust of our first partners, laying the foundation for the Company’s future growth.”

The speech went on to highlight major milestones in the Company’s journey, such as:

- The Company standardized the quality management system and obtained ISO 9001:2000 Certification in 2007; In 2009, North Star first exceeded 100 billion VND in revenue. In 2013, the Company achieved a major milestone by completing and handing over a large and complex MEP contract valued at over 13 million USD within 10 months; Establishing the Labor Union in 2014 and receiving OHSAS Certification in 2015. The Company opened a branch in Ho Chi Minh City in 2016 and obtained ISO 45001:2018 Certification in 2018. The Company successfully restructured the organization and mechanism in 2019, and effectively responded to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020–2021. From 2022 to the present, the Company has entered a phase of recovery and growth, contributing to the transformation of the architectural landscape with iconic projects such as the Dwight Hanoi International School project.

At the conclusion of his speech, Mr. Pham Quy Duong made a commitment to invest in humans, apply technology, and improve the management system to meet the increasingly stringent demands of clients. He also shared North Star’s vision for the upcoming period. Once again, he emphasized the theme “Stay committed, Grow together”, expressing his belief that “North Star will continue to conquer new heights, bringing sustainable values to society and the community, and together with the country, step into a new era, an era of national advancement!”

After the speech with the impressive milestones of North Star over the past two decades, the most memorable moment of the ceremony followed: the birthday cake-cutting ceremony. The Company’s leadership performed this ceremony amidst the enthusiastic applause of all the guests, bringing the ceremony to a joyful and emotional close.

The Party was an opportunity for everyone to relax and enjoy the lively atmosphere after the formal moments of the ceremony. Guests and the North Star’s members gathered to enjoy a meticulously prepared dinner, featuring a menu rich in Eastern culinary traditions. In addition, the musical program, featuring professional singers, brought a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. Engaging dance performances and heartfelt songs created a top-notch artistic atmosphere, making everyone satisfied.

Another highlight of the Party was the ceremony to honor outstanding individuals and teams. The organizers announced the names of those who had made significant contributions to the Company’s development. Meaningful awards were presented amid enthusiastic applause, uplifting the spirits of all employees.

The Party’s atmosphere in the auditorium became more exciting than ever with the Lucky Draw program. The valuable prizes not only brought joy to the lucky winners but also fostered a sense of bond and closeness among all the attendees.
