North Star Successfully Organized Summer Tour 2024 Hanoi – Cua Lo – Uncle Ho’s Hometown

From August 9 to 11, 2024, the Trade Union of North Star Construction - Trading Joint Stock Company successfully organized the Summer Tour 2024 to Cua Lo - Uncle Ho’s hometown with the theme “Breaking Limits - Conquering New Heights.” The tour not only provided memorable experiences for all employees but also served as a significant event celebrating the Company’s 20^th anniversary.

A meaningful tour

This year’s summer tour was not just a vacation after long days of hard work on various construction sites but also an opportunity for company members to bond, strengthen solidarity, and foster a sense of teamwork within the “North Star Family”. With the theme “Breaking Limits - Conquering New Heights,” the activities were designed to encourage bold thinking, taking initiative, and pushing beyond limits to achieve greater success in both work and life. Activities at Cua Lo beach, along with the exciting “North Star Cup 2024” football tournament, contributed to enhancing team spirit, perseverance, and determination among all company members, from the leadership to individual employees and their families. Additionally, the leadership and the entire North Star Family visited “Uncle Ho’s Hometown” in Kim Lien, Nam Dan, Nghe An, to express gratitude to the “Leader” of the “Nation” of Vietnam. The visit to the hometown of “President Ho Chi Minh” was a deeply “sacred” experience for every Vietnamese, and especially for the members of North Star Family.

A milestone of 20 years of development

The Summer Tour 2024 also holds special significance as it marks 20 years of formation and development for North Star. From its early days, the Company has continuously strived to become one of the leading enterprises in the construction industry.

Over the past 20 years, North Star has made its mark with numerous outstanding works and major projects, contributing to national economic growth. This tour provides an opportunity for all employees to look back on the achievements accomplished and reaffirm their commitment to continuing efforts, ensuring North Star’s strong position in the future.

Grand Gala dinner program

The highlight of this tour is the magnificent “Gala dinner” program organized by Viettravel, the leading travel agency in Vietnam, on the evening of August 10. The event started with a spectacular display of lively and colorful dance performances by the “Cua Lo Dance Group”, followed by singing from professional singers showcasing the sweet melodies of Nghe An region.

The Gala Dinner was not only an event for North Star members to enjoy delicious food together but also an opportunity to reinforce camaraderie after long periods apart on various construction sites. It provided a platform for North Star members’ families to connect, with children showcasing their talents in lively summer rhythms and North Star’s singers expressing themselves through timeless songs.

This year’s Gala Dinner also served as an opportunity for the leadership to express gratitude for the efforts of each “North Star member” through the “Lucky Spin” program. Many appreciation gifts were awarded to those holding lucky numbers. Each member of the leadership hopes that this “luck” will spread like a small miracle to every North Star member when stepping onto the harsh construction sites.

Announcement of senior personnel

During the Gala Dinner, with vision and development orientation, the Company's Leadership announced the appointment of new senior personnel, the “Head of Planning and Technical Department”. Shortly thereafter, the new Head of Planning and Technical Department received the appointment decision and, on behalf of the department, pledged to achieve its goals and objectives for the new term.

A visit to President Ho Chi Minh’s hometown

A culturally and historically significant activity during this tour was the visit to the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh. All Sao Bac members had the opportunity to visit the historical site in Sen Village, Nghe An, where President Ho Chi Minh was born and raised.

The visit was not only an opportunity for members to remember and honor the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the nation but also a chance to gain a deeper understanding of his life and career. This emotional experience contributed to educating and enhancing patriotism and national pride among the company’s members.

At the end of the tour, all North Star members felt excited and ready to embark on a new phase with many ambitious plans and goals. The tour truly sparked a spirit of conquering new heights and breaking all limits, towards sustainable development and prosperity of the company.
