North Star win the Mep package of iLD Vietnam Coffee manufacturing plant project

In the last week of May 2022, North Star Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company received a notification letter about winning the Mechanical and Pipeline System package for the iLD Vietnam instant coffee production plant project. This is one of the major projects as General Contractor of M&E for North Star in general and North Star Branch in Ho Chi Minh City in particular.

Not long ago, in August 2021, two leading coffee producers in the world, Louis Dreyfus and Instanta, reached an agreement to build a coffee plant in Vietnam. In the course of investment promotion, by the early weeks of March 2022, iLD Coffee Vietnam Co., Ltd. - the investor representing the joint venture of Louis Dreyfus and Instanta held the ground-breaking ceremony to build the iLD Coffee Vietnam plant at Protrade International Industrial Park, Ben Cat Town, Binh Duong Province. After the bidding process for the Mechanical and Pipeline System package comes to an end, by the end of May 2022, North Star was officially selected as the General Contractor for the package mentioned above.

To achieve the above results, North Star has undergone three assessments. The first one is the capacity assessment to perform similar contracts - North Star has demonstrated to customers its construction and installation capacity through experience in a series of M&E projects and technological pipelines for production, the most recent being the Soluble Coffee instant coffee plant project of the multinational corporation as Marubeni (Japan) in Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province. The second is the qualification assessment on the overall capacity of the organization, financial resources, human resources, equipment, quality management system, Safety - Health - Environment management system – North Star has met all the qualification requirements of the investor. The last one is the assessment during the bidding process that North Star has met entire contents stated in the bidding documents as well as provided accurate and transparent information about the bidding contents through clarifying technical instructions and measures to implement the bidding package with the special advantage in term of “Price”. Thanks to its prominence, North Star has got the trust of customers to be assigned the bidding package.

Back to Binh Duong where North Star has implemented dozens of large and small projects. When iLD Coffee project is completed, North Star can feel proud of contributing a little to the industrial infrastructure of Binh Dung, as well as the supply chain of one of the world’s top branded agricultural products in Vietnam, Coffee.
