Progress update of the project Toyoda Gosei Hai Phong

Toyoda Gosei Hai Phong is one of the projects with particular characteristics of “Upgrade, Renovation and Expansion” invested by investors who already have existing works. Toyoda Gosei Hai Phong is a large-scale plant that has been built for many years at Nomura Hai Phong Industrial Park (One of the first industrial parks with foreign direct investment in Hai Phong). Through a long period of development from phase 1 in 2004 with a scale of 23 million USD, Toyoda Gosei Hai Phong has undergone various stages and increased investment capital up to 75 million USD with key products as airbags, steering wheel, car interior accessories.

In the third quarter of 2021, Toyoda Gosei Hai Phong selected North Star for the bidding package of “Upgrading and renovating” the plant’s fire protection system to ensure fire safety, protect employees and assets in accordance with legal requirements of Vietnam on fire protection system standards.

The nature of “Upgrade, renovation, and expansion” is to carry out the system installation while maintaining the production and safety for employees and assets of the plant and investor. Thus the site management committee has taken construction and safety measures and standards at the highest and strictest level for construction.

After 3-month implementation with the highest-level spirit and determination, employees of North Star have completed more than 70% of the workload, 5% higher than expected, while minimizing the impact on production and business as well as safety of investors to the lowest level.

The construction results above have demonstrated North Star’s efforts, qualifications, and experience in construction. The ingenuity and flexibility in satisfying the requirements for the quality management system, the safety management system, and the requirements for maintaining production and business of the investor is proof of North Star’s value for complicated projects with the characteristics of “Upgrade, renovation, expansion”.
