Sao Bac Trade Union completed the mission of information support to solve the sickness regime for employees infected with the Covid-19

After the 2022 Lunar New Year, the Covid-19 epidemic broke out strongly, especially in the northern cities and provinces, in face of the influence of the pandemic on the health of employees, and according to article 25 of the 2014 social insurance law on conditions for the sickness benefits, Sao Bac Trade Union quickly supported and answered the questions of officials, union members, and employees participating in social insurance, thereby facilitating employees infected with the Covid-19 can access, understand and implement procedures for completing documents on social insurance benefits.

The offices, construction sites, and trade unions have organized consultation activities in order to support and inform employees of all levels from the site management board, engineers, officials, and workers participating in social insurance, thereby helping the Department of Administration - Human Resources in charge of managing social insurance of the company to communicate policies of social insurance for the employees infected with the Covid-19.

In the course of the consultation, many union members have given questions about the procedures of application for benefits. The representative of the trade union, together with the site management board have answered and explained all questions related to procedures of enjoying benefits by referring to provisions of article 25 of the 2014 social insurance law which details the benefit rate during the leave, the procedures of application handling, types of documents required, the period of benefits, the time limit for application handling, regimes of convalescence and rehabilitation after sickness.

After the consultation, all union members and employees, especially the F0 who had recovered from the Covid-19, understood the procedures and immediately prepare the necessary documents. The consultation session took place in a dynamic and gentle atmosphere with a clear explanation of questions.

The information support mentioned above is a very necessary and important activity. The representatives of employees, as well as employees themselves, got a clear understanding, at the same time, the results mentioned above demonstrated the role of the Trade Union in “Life caring” for union members and employees. It is an expectation of the Union that 100% of F0 employees who have recovered from the Covid-19 are entitled to enjoy the social insurance benefits as part of the social responsibility of the insurance agency. Moreover, we also want employees to raise their responsibilities for health protection and comply with the pandemic prevention plans to minimize the number of infected cases and maintain safety first on all construction sites.
