SEVERE COMPLIENCE OF PANDEMIC PREVENTION STRATEGY OF THREE ON-SITES: ON-SITE STEERING – ON-SITE WORKING – ON-SITE LOGISTICS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SOLUBLE COFFEE

The key project Soluble Coffee is implemented by "North Star" under the Southern regional project system. The project is located in Phu My 3 Industrial Park - Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, one of the 19 southern provinces that are heavily affected by the Covid-19 epidemic. At the same time, the project is in the process of implementing Directive 16 of the Government about social distancing.

Under the direction and guidance of the Management Board of the Industrial Park through the implementation of the official dispatches directing epidemic prevention of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, the instructions for implementing Directive 16 of the Department of Construction, Department of Health, detailed instructions of Phu My 3 Industrial Park and Marubeni Investor.

North Star., JSC has actively complied Directive 16 and the guiding documents attached while trying to maintain the supply chain and construction of products and services of the Project. "North Star" has "strictly implemented" and "qualified" the strategy of “the Three on-sites" to both fight the epidemics and maintain production and business activities, meeting the schedule, as well as ensuring quality and safety for the project.

The Board of Directors of the Company, based on the instructions allowed to perform from the investor, directed the Project Steering Committee to "seriously" implement the content of the three on-site as following

Up to now, from the time of implementing social distancing in Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, the Project has strictly followed and met Directive 16 and guiding documents of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, governmental Departments, and the industrial zones.

Here are some results of the "three on-site" implementation

1. Organizing testing for all the staffs, workers, units, and contractors: 100% of people tested had negative results.

 

2. On-site steering

The site management board settled at the construction site, properly performed the functions and duties, the job description of the direct management of the project. At the same time, we’ve undertaken the responsibility for managing the epidemic prevention task at the project.

 

3. On-site working and living

All the officers, engineers, workers, units, and contractors must settle at the construction site while continuing to maintain production activities. Up to now, the project has been in progress, all construction and installation items have met the requirements of quality, safety, and progress standards.

 

 

4. On-site logistics

We’ve organized the logistics on-site by the way to ensure adequate food and all necessities for living activities of the staffs and sub-contractors. Staffs at the project have prepared very carefully the plan logistics in terms of accommodation arrangement, ventilation, hygiene works, at the same time food and necessaries have been reserved sufficiently for everyone.

 

 

During implementation of Directive 16 on social distancing, the Steering Board of the Project and all the workers and staffs, units, and sub-contractors of "North Star" have always keep compliance so that the production and construction activities have been maintained while ensure pandemic prevention.

The system of project in the south in particular, and all of "North Star" in general, will try by our best to fight the pandemic.
