TCVN 13657-1:2023 National technical standard on Fire Protection - High Pressure Mist Fire Extinguishing System – Part 1: Design and Installation Requirements
TCVN 13657-1:2023 is issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology together with Decision 261/QD-BKHCN promulgating TCVN 3890:2023 dated February 28, 2023.
This standard prescribes:
This standard provides requirements for the design and installation of High Pressure Mist Fire Extinguishing System for for building & construction. This standard does not apply to the design of water spray system, Foam for metal fires, as well as strongly chemically active substances and materials, including:
- Substances that react with explosive extinguishing agents (aluminum compounds, alkali metals, ...);
- Substances that decompose when interacting with extinguishing agents and release flammable gases (lithium compounds, lead azides, aluminum hydride, zinc, magnesium, ...);
- Substances that interact with extinguishing agents with strong exothermic effects (sulfuric acid, titanium chloride, ...);
- Substances that spontaneously ignite in contact with water (sodium hydrosulfite, ...).
The Standard comes into force from the date of signing.
